Many
local modeling agencies charge high fees to sign a potential
model... whether you get work or not. I sell many of my photos
each year in various markets including product promotions, magazine
advertisements, catalogs, company brochures, advertising agencies,
etc.
I charge a reasonable
$175.00 "in studio" fee. This helps defer the cost of
circulating publishable photos. I have no 'hidden' fees and
WILL NEVER suggest any additional nonsense such as modeling
classes or expensive portfolio work.
If I sell a stock
photo that I take of you, I pay you 50% of the revenue from
the sale. If you're chosen for a specific advertising model
job with one of my clients, you're paid $100 an hour.
If I sign you
with a major modeling agency in New York or L.A., you pay nothing.
In that case, the modeling agency pays me for finding you.
If a modeling
career is your interest, tell me in our interview and I will
gladly give you advice in order to avoid the pitfalls and unnecessary
outrageous expense often connected with it.
I often send pictures
to major modeling agencies in New York and Los Angeles for modeling
consideration. The agencies with an interest in you DO NOT charge
any fees for sign up.
I will be quite
honest with you regarding your chances of becoming a model or
of stock photography sales to advertisers.
